An exciting opportunity is opening for a passionate music educator to join one of Australia's leading secondary school Music programmes in apermanent part-timecapacity (0.6 FTE across three days per week), commencing in Term 1, ****.

St Andrew's Cathedral School is seeking an educator of exceptional musicianship and pedagogical expertise who will thrive within a committed, collaborative and high-performing team.
The role primarily involves teaching Music in Years 7–12 and contributing to a dynamic academic programme that fosters both excellence and engagement.
Depending on the successful applicant's experience and the needs of the Music Department, opportunities may also exist for ensemble direction and other co-curricular music responsibilities.
Who will the successful applicant be?
Recent experience teaching Music Years 7-12
Advanced practical skills in one or more instruments
A passion for quality music education that inspires a lifelong love of music in young people of all abilities
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills,
with the ability to build positive relationships and contribute effectively within a collaborative and high-performing Music team.
An understanding of and commitment to the School's Christian mission, values and ethos
Previous experience teaching the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and training in Kodály secondarypedagogy is highly desirable.
