The Role:
Due to organic growth and continued success, there is an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Orange team and assist with ongoing and upcoming projects.
This role will report directly to our Project Manager to ensure our projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Assisting the Project Manager and Contract Administrator with administrative roles/duties
Setting up, monitoring, and maintaining drawing/document register including distributing all construction documentation and revisions as required
Attending site meetings and minuting meetings
Preparing operation and maintenance manuals and client handover manuals
Maintaining contract filing systems
Set up sample register and sign off
Arranging co-ordination of master key system
Manage Defects register
Sending trade packages to subcontractors
Establishing and maintaining project control registers
Undertaking off site inspections to monitor procurement
Assisting with preparation of monthly cost reports and forecasting of preliminaries and trade cost
Proactive approach to identifying and maximising cost saving under the hard contract and subcontracts alike.
To be successful, you will need:
Formal qualifications in Building, Construction, Engineering, or a Property/Project Management
Working experience in MS Project, Excel, and Word are essential, experience in PowerPoint and Procore desirable
Experience in detail-orientated bespoke projects.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
Comprehensive understanding of the building codes and guidelines.
Ability to drive projects to meet deadlines on time and on budget.
Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements and has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety.
Previous exposure to Procore preferable but not mandatory
