About the role
The Learning Cottage, a leading provider of early childhood education services in Wollongbar is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educators-Trainees to join our vibrant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about nurturing the development and well-being of young children. This is a two-year commitment, and at the end, you will have your qualification as an educator.
What you'll be doing
Providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years
Implementing engaging and age-appropriate learning activities that promote cognitive, physical, social and emotional development
Observing and documenting children's progress to inform individualized learning plans
Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and standards
Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children's holistic development
Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
A passion for early childhood education and a genuine commitment to supporting the growth, wellbeing, safety and rights of all children
A strong commitment to child safety and creating environments where children feel secure, respected,



heard and protected at all times
A willingness to undertake a relevant Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with children, families and team members
Enthusiasm for creating a stimulating, inclusive and child-safe learning environment
A current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain one
An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the Child Safe Standards, mandatory reporting obligations and professional boundaries in early childhood education
