—to deliver the Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) works for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project.

This landmark project includes:
Six brand-new metro stations from St Marys to the new Aerotropolis.
Twelve new metro trains and core rail systems.
A state-of-the-art maintenance and stabling facility at Orchard Hills.
The new railway will become the transport spine of Greater Western Sydney, connecting communities and travellers with the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport and the rapidly growing region through fast, safe, and reliable metro services.

The Opportunity: Contract Administrator
This is not a standard contract administration role. You will manage a significant package of subcontractor and supplier contracts within our high-performing downstream commercial team.
Reporting to the Downstream Contracts Manager, you will be key in ensuring commercial success and operational efficiency across this large-scale infrastructure build.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the compilation and collation of cost related information and reportsas required
Assess and negotiate claims, external variations, and contract terms
Drive performance by administering contracts, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance
Analysecommercial arrangementsidentifying existing or potential variances/trends, providing recommendations as appropriate for agreement with the department
If required, oversee the target cost estimate process for the project confirming that procedures are adhered to, and that the value for money is being achieved.
Support and mentor the commercial team to expand their expertise
What We're Looking For
A degree in Commercial, Legal, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering
Strong contract management experience within large infrastructure or construction projects
Proven ability to handle complex negotiations and resolve commercial issues
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
