Role DescriptionThe Venture Capital Analyst / Associate supports the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of investment opportunities across various industries and growth stages. This role works closely with the investment team to identify promising companies, conduct market and industry research, perform financial and business analysis, and assist in the investment decision-making process. Key responsibilities include sourcing potential investment opportunities, conducting commercial and competitive analysis, evaluating business models and market trends, building financial models, performing due diligence, preparing investment memoranda and presentation materials, and supporting transaction execution.
The role also involves monitoring portfolio company performance, tracking key operating and financial metrics, maintaining investment databases, and assisting with portfolio reporting and strategic initiatives. The Venture Capital Analyst / Associate collaborates with entrepreneurs, advisors, investors, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and support investment activities. The position requires strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate complex business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics,



Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial, operational, and market data. Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and investment analysis.
Knowledge of venture capital, private equity, startup ecosystems, and emerging technology trends. Excellent research and market analysis capabilities with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with sound business judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear investment presentations and reports. High level of attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‐functional teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and financial analysis tools. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to learning.
CFA, CAIA, or other relevant investment-related certifications are considered an advantage.
