We are a locally owned and operated laundry group with four locations across Wollongong, Albion Park and Kiama. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a reliable, motivated and customer-focused team member to join our team.
This position requires the successful applicant to be available to work across our Wollongong, Kiama and Albion Park locations. While your roster will generally be planned in advance, flexibility to work at any of our three locations is an essential requirement of the role.
This is a hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys staying active, working with their hands, and taking pride in delivering outstanding customer service. We're looking for someone with good common sense, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in helping us deliver the high standard of service our customers have come to expect.
Job Description
As a Customer Service Associate within our laundries, you will play an important role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality service. Your main responsibilities will include:
Loading Machines:
Efficiently and safely loading laundry machines with care and attention to detail.
Folding:
Accurately folding and organising laundered items to maintain presentation and quality.
Cash Handling:
Processing customer payments and transactions accurately and professionally.
Ironing:
Ironing garments as required to meet customer preferences.
Team Collaboration:
Working closely with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Customer Service:




Providing friendly and helpful service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Communication:
Maintaining clear communication with both customers and colleagues.
Business Awareness:
Contributing ideas and feedback that support the ongoing growth of the business.
Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
A proactive

Availability to work across our Wollongong, Kiama and Albion Park locations is an essential requirement of this role.
A current driver's licence and reliable transport are essential.
Availability to work Saturdays is essential for this role.
Positive common sense, the ability to think on your feet, and confidence to problem-solve when required.
Basic technology skills and the ability to confidently operate our POS system and other simple computer-based systems.
Ability to accurately handle cash and EFTPOS transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while maintaining attention to detail.
