About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Manager and working closely with senior executives, this is a broad Company Accountant role with visibility across the entire business.
With the Financial Manager planning retirement within the next 18 months, this opportunity offers a genuine pathway into a leadership position for the right person.
You'll supervise the workflow of a small finance team of two while remaining actively involved in: Monthly management and financial reporting
Forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT and statutory compliance
Payroll management and year-end reporting
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable oversight
Fixed asset management and reconciliations
Insurance, fleet and banking administration




Process improvement initiatives and special projects
Business partnering with senior management
About You
CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
Experience in a Company Accountant, Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant role
Strong financial reporting and management accounting skills
Experience across payroll and statutory compliance
Previous exposure to leading, mentoring or supervising finance staff
Commercially minded, proactive and hands-on
Strong communication skills with the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders
Looking for a genuine pathway into a future Financial Manager position
