We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kindergarten Director to lead the strategic and operational management of our Kindergarten.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated educators in delivering a high-quality, play-based program that promotes children's learning, wellbeing and development within a safe, inclusive and Christ-centred workplace.
This is a
permanent full-time position
with remuneration commensurate with the successful candidate's teaching experience and a position of added responsibility allowance.
This position will commence from the beginning of ****.
Your Role
Lead the strategic and operational management of the Kindergarten.
Deliver a high-quality early childhood program aligned with the EYLF, NQF and QKLG.
Mentor and develop educators, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Lead quality improvement, compliance and Assessment and Rating preparation.
Oversee Kindergarten operations, including staffing, budgeting and reporting.




Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values.
About You
Practicing Christian with the ability to actively support and promote the College's Mission, Vision and Values.
Proven leadership experience in early childhood education.
Strong knowledge and implementation of the EYLF, NQF, QKLG and Child Safe Standards.
Demonstrated knowledge of Child Care Subsidy system and compliance.
Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
A Master of Education (or another mission-aligned field) is desirable, but not essential.
Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
Current Working With Children Check (Exemption Card).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
National Child Safety Training certification through the GECCKO platform.
