About The Role
We are seeking a motivated 1st Year Automotive Apprentice to join our workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a long-term career in the automotive industry, working alongside experienced technicians and receiving hands‐on training with some of the world's leading prestige vehicle brands. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship with structured training, mentoring, and exposure to modern automotive technology in a professional dealership environment.
In this role you will:
Assist qualified technicians with servicing, maintenance, and repairs
Learn to diagnose basic mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out routine servicing tasks under supervision
Use workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership processes
Attend TAFE or registered training as part of your apprenticeship
Develop technical skills and product knowledge across premium brands
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
A genuine interest in the automotive industry and desire to learn
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take direction
Positive communication skills and a team‐focused mindset
Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to completing an apprenticeship
Basic mechanical knowledge or prior work experience (advantageous but not essential)
A current driver's licence or willingness to obtain one
A commitment to workplace health and safety
