About the role
HC Truck driver required for General Freight from Lismore to Brisbane. Full-time position.
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused HC Truck Driver to join our team at McMullen Freightlines' in Lismore, NSW. As a full-time HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the secure and efficient transportation of goods from Lismore to Brisbane 2 days a week and the other 2 days delivering freight locally in the Northern Rivers Area.
What you'll be doing
Operate heavy combination vehicles (HC) to transport goods and materials to various destinations
Adhere to all road rules, transport regulations and company policies to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle
Maintain accurate logbooks and other documentation as required
Assist with loading and unloading of goods at depot, pick-up and delivery points
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Working alongside your teammates in our Lismore depot consolidating freight and using a forklift for unloading and loading trucks as required.
This is a physical job role that requires hand unloads at times.
What we're looking for




Experience with general freight and HC Truck Driver in the road transport industry
Valid HC driver's license and a strong safety record
Valid Forklift license with previous experience
Demonstrated knowledge of road rules, transport regulations and safe driving practices
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
