YOUR MISSION
As the Area 51 Venue Manager at our Mount Gravatt location (inside Westfield Garden City), you are the gatekeeper to an enriching and dynamic setting. Your purpose is to ensure our diverse range of an engaging venue is upheld, by overseeing crew training and managing the ongoing safety of our equipment in order to keep top-notch quality and customer experiences. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you contribute to the growth and development of our centre, crew and the children we serve. Your meticulous planning ensures a seamless blend of education and entertainment, creating an atmosphere where children thrive, learn, and create lasting memories in a safe and stimulating setting. Strong food and beverage knowledge is crucial to the success of this role.

Leadership & Operations:
Roster and coordinate departments to maximise efficiencies and cost
Open and close the venue with precision
Train,



motivate, and coach your crew to greatness
Conduct one-on-ones with our command crew (supervisors)
Manage maintenance schedules and equipment standards
Oversee food and beverage costs, preparation, presentation and inventory
Guest Experience:
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues with finesse
Maintain exceptional service standards
Create celebration experiences that become cherished memories
Financial Mastery:
Manage COGS and stock like a boss
Reconcile daily takings and work within budgets
Monitor profit margins and drive financial performance
Safety First:
Oversee all health and safety protocols
Manage accident reporting and analysis
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
