Pump Workshop Service Technician

is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of water solutions. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a range of water and wastewater equipment.
If you have a mechanical mindset and enjoy hands-on work, this is a excellent opportunity to be part of a skilled team maintaining and repairing Xylem equipment, including Flygt and Godwin pump units.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency assessments, servicing, and repairs on our pumps and rental fleet, both on-site and in our service workshop.
Clean, strip, and overhaul customer pump sets and products.
Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings and instructions.
Inspect and test products before dispatch.
Provide clear and accurate advice to colleagues and customers on service, workshop, and product-related issues.
Maintain detailed documentation and reports on all work undertaken.
About You:
Proven mechanical aptitude and ideally you will possess relevant trade qualification as a Fitter or Electrician or other relevant trade qualifications
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations
