Registered Nurse Recovery/ PACU - Part-time
We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Recovery/ PACU Registered Nurses to join our clinical team on a part-time basis minimum 40hrs per fortnight.
Monday to Friday adaptable roster, no on-call, weekends, public holidays or trauma
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Deliver evidence-based care:
Monitor patient wellbeing and administer protected, high-quality treatment tailored to each stage of their hospital stay.
Prepare for safe surgery:
Ensure the facility, equipment and clinical environment are ready to support safe, efficient surgical care.
Prioritise and monitor patient safety:
Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress, respond promptly to changes or complications, and keep patient safety central to all decisions.
Support recovery at home:
Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge.
Guide and support colleagues:
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice.
Champion improvement:
Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital.
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world‐class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
Solid experience as a Recovery/ PACU nurse
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Current ALS and PALS desirable but not essential we will train
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, staff and other stakeholders
Solid time management, organisational and communication skills
