At Midas Car Care Centre Cairns, we are looking for one experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. Whether you are a robust all-round technician or a senior diagnostic technician, we would like to hear from you.
Midas Cairns is a locally owned and operated business and one of Australia's highest-performing Midas workshops. For more than 25 years, we have built our reputation on quality workmanship, honest service and long-standing customer relationships.
We are not looking for the cheapest mechanic. We are looking for the right person, and we are prepared to pay accordingly.
What we offer
$90,000 - $120,000+ depending on experience, diagnostic ability and the value you bring
Monday to Friday only
Permanent full-time position
Clean, organised and professional workshop
Fully funded ongoing technical training through Midas Australia

About the role




We are looking for someone with solid experience, good diagnostic ability and pride in quality workmanship. You do not need to know everything, but you do need to care about doing the job properly. You will be joining Kevin and the team at Midas Cairns, a workshop built over 25 years on quality, relationships and customer trust.
About Cairns
Cairns offers a quality of life that is difficult to match in major southern cities. Monday to Friday work, no Saturdays, 5-20 minute commute for most locals, and weekends free to enjoy beautiful Tropical North Queensland.
Minimum 5 years post-trade experience preferred
Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
Own tools
Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Permanent Resident with unrestricted work rights
Currently living in Australia
