Hunter Hydraulic Solutions is seeking a motivated and reliable
Trade Assistant
to join our growing team.
Working alongside our experienced Hydraulic Fitters, you'll gain hands‐on experience repairing, servicing and assembling hydraulic equipment while learning valuable trade skills in a supportive workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Hydraulic Fitters with the repair, servicing and installation of hydraulic equipment.
Clean, inspect and prepare hydraulic components for repair.
Operate hand tools, power tools and basic workshop equipment safely.
Pick, pack and organise parts and materials for workshop and field service jobs.
Load and unload vehicles and assist with deliveries.
Perform basic mechanical tasks under the guidance of qualified technicians.
Assist with field service work when required.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
Carry out general workshop housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Experience using hand and power tools.




Reliable with a positive attitude and robust work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Current forklift licence
or willingness to obtain one
.
Desirable (but not essential)
Previous experience in hydraulics, mechanical, diesel, agricultural or earthmoving industries.
Experience working in a workshop environment.
Basic mechanical knowledge or trade assistant experience.
