About the role
Roc-Drill Pty Ltd is seeking skilled
Blast Hole Drillers
to join our team at
Ravenswood Gold Mine QLD
. This full time position is a critical role within our Mining - Drill & Blast operations, with responsibilities focused on drilling blast holes to prepare sites for mining activities.
What you'll be doing
Operating a range of modern drilling equipment to drill blast holes




Ensuring drill holes are accurately positioned and to the required depth and diameter specifications
Adhering to all safety procedures and environmental regulations
Collaborating with the wider mining team to optimise drilling operationsProviding on-the-job training and guidance to less experienced drill operators
What we're looking for
Experience on top hammer drills (
ideally Epiroc T40 or T45
)or down-the-hole hammer drills (i
deally Epiroc D60 or D65
) or experience working within the mining industry on similar equipment.
A high understanding and awareness of occupational health and safety
Two recent, relevant referees who can vouch for your attitude
Be able to consistently pass drug and alcohol testing
Be able to obtain a current national police clearance
Ability to pass pre-employment medical
