Position Summary
As a Residential Sales Representative, you will be a key player in driving our rooftop solar systems sales by engaging homeowners and helping them understand the benefits and potential savings of switching to solar power. This role requires a passionate and motivated individual who can effectively communicate the value of solar energy and provide tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Identify potential sales opportunities by generating leads through marketing, networking, and referrals. Conduct in-depth consultations to assess customer needs and explain our solar products and services.
Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations that highlight the features, advantages, and benefits of our solar solutions. Educate customers on solar technology, system design, financing options, and governmental incentives.
Proposal Development: Prepare customised proposals that offer optimal solar solutions based on site evaluations and energy needs assessments.
Contract Negotiation: Guide potential customers through the sales process, address any concerns, and negotiate terms to close sales effectively.
Market Analysis: Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities. Provide feedback to management on customer insights and product demand to shape future sales strategies.
Collaboration:



Work closely with the technical team to ensure proposed systems meet quality and regulatory standards. Coordinate with installation teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Post‐Sale Support: Maintain relationships with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals. Handle any customer inquiries or problems regarding system performance or service issues.
Qualifications
Proven sales experience, preferably in the renewable energy sector, or related fields such as real estate or high-end retail.
Strong understanding of solar technology and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and calculate customer savings and return on investment from solar installations.
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally to meet clients when needed.
