We are seeking suitably qualified, passionate and engaging Relief Teacher Assistants to join our Secondary Learning Support team. This is a casual, relief role (Term Time) providing appropriate instruction, care and support for students with identified needs. As a Teacher Assistant in our Secondary School, you will be contributing to an exceptional learning workplace that promotes the strong aims of an independent Christian School.

Key Responsibilities include:




Knowing and connecting with students in a manner according to their identified needs
Working collaboratively with the Learning Support Leader and classroom teachers for in-class support, deliver set programs and provide adjustments for individual students
Use initiative to modify and implement programs
Uphold the College's classroom behavioural management system

To be successful, you will have:
Certificate III in Education Support (or higher relevant qualification)
Experience in assisting students, under teacher guidance, in the areas of Numeracy,Literacy and other areas as required
Experience working with students with learning difficulties
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote
Current Blue Card
An active Christian faith and strong Christian character
