The Company
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Officer to join a well-established business within the construction industry on a 3-month contract. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the finance team with high-volume finance processing during a busy period. This is a fully office-based role located on Brisbane's northside, with parking available on site.
The Role
This 3-month contract will suit an immediately available or soon-to-be available Finance Officer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Process a high volume of supplier invoices using a manual finance process
Match purchase orders, invoices and delivery dockets
Code invoices accurately and allocate costs to the correct accounts
Process supplier credits and investigate invoice discrepancies
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve outstanding queries
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding payment enquiries
Maintain accurate supplier records within Pronto
Assist with filing,



document management and general finance administration
Support the finance team with backlog clearance and ad hoc administrative tasks
Ensure invoices are processed accurately and within required timeframes
About You
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience as a Finance Officer
Experience processing high volumes of invoices manually
Experience using Pronto is highly regarded
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Available to commence at short notice
