Job Description
Moncourt Pty Ltd trading as G&K; Looney Plastering are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Plasterer to join their team in Wagga Wagga NSW. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Decide plasterboard layout and install insulation and vapour barriers.
Measure, mark, and cut plasterboard, position and secure panels to walls, ceilings and battens.
Create corner beads and secure them in position.
Cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smooth them using wet brush and sandpaper.
Plumb and straighten angles, corners, ceiling and wall surfaces.
Apply and finish acoustic, fireproofing and insulating materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement and similar materials.
Skills and Abilities
Must have a minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Plasterer or equivalent.
Certificate (III) in Plastering or relevant
Ability to work in a team setting.
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience. Fulltime Position available Applications open on 15th July **** and closes on 15th August ****. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
