Novotel Sydney Parramatta is looking for enthusiastic & passionate Handyperson join our team on a part-time basis.

Located just minutes from Parramatta CBD, our hotel caters to a diverse mix of business and leisure travelers. As the Handyperson, you will play an essential role in maintaining the hotel’s facilities to ensure a protected, comfortable and well-presented environment for our guests and team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for:
Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance throughout the Hotel.
Complete daily plant rounds and servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly.
Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Property management System (PMS).




Assist in keeping up-to-date records on the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment.

What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment is an advantage but not essential
The drive to work hard and get your hands dirty.
The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team setting.
The ability to working rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Valuable organisational and multitasking skills.
