Elanora Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and passionate
Landscape and Gardens Manager
to lead the presentation, development and management of the Club's extensive landscape, garden and natural areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced horticultural or landscape professional to join a dynamic management team committed to providing an exceptional sporting and lifestyle experience for members and guests. The successful candidate will oversee the management of gardens, landscape areas, bushland interfaces and broader property presentation across one of Sydney's most picturesque private clubs.
Elanora Country Club facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, golf practice facilities, two bowling greens, croquet lawns and tennis courts. The property is perched on a sandstone escarpment overlooking Sydney's Northern Beaches and is bordered by the stunning Garigal National Park.
The Landscape Manager will work closely with the Director of Grounds and Grounds Management Team to develop and implement landscape improvement projects, manage horticultural staff and contractors, and ensure the Club's gardens and surrounds are presented to the highest possible standard. The role will also involve regular interaction with members, Club committees and key stakeholders,
providing leadership and input into landscape planning, presentation standards and future improvement projects.
The successful candidate will possess:
Qualifications in Horticulture, Landscape Management or a related field
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience managing large-scale gardens, landscapes, parks or sporting facilities
A sound understanding of Australian native plants and bushland management
Experience in project planning, budgeting and contractor management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members, committees, contractors and other key stakeholders
Experience presenting ideas, plans and project updates to management, committees or clients
Chemical accreditation (ChemCert) or willingness to obtain
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
