I am partnering with a well-established commercial roofing and building envelope contractor to recruit an experienced
Site Supervisor
to join their growing team. This business specialises in delivering
commercial roofing, reroofing, metal wall cladding and building envelope projects
across education, government, industrial, commercial and retail sectors. Their projects range from complex roof replacement works on occupied buildings through to large-scale roofing and cladding packages for new developments. With a strong pipeline of work throughout the
Central Coast, Newcastle and Northern NSW
, they are looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor who enjoys working outdoors, leading teams and taking ownership of projects from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a
commercial roofing, cladding, façade or commercial construction background
looking for long-term stability with a respected specialist contractor.
The Role
Supervising commercial roofing and cladding projects from mobilisation through to completion
Coordinating subcontractors, direct labour and suppliers
Planning daily site activities and short-term programming
Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification
Conducting daily pre-starts and toolbox talks
Managing site safety and WHS compliance
Reviewing and implementing SWMS and Safe Work Procedures
Coordinating deliveries, access equipment and site logistics
Monitoring project quality and completing QA inspections
Managing defects and close-out works
Liaising with clients, builders, consultants and project stakeholders




Completing site documentation including daily reports, inspections and photographs
Coordinating plant, cranes, EWP's and other specialist equipment where required
Maintaining strong communication with the Project Manager regarding progress, risks and programme
Ensuring projects remain on programme and within quality expectations
Leading by example and maintaining a positive site culture
Hands-On Leadership
This is a working Site Supervisor position. While your primary responsibility will be supervising projects and coordinating site activities, there will be times where you will be expected to
jump on the tools and assist the crew
to help keep projects moving. If you're someone who enjoys remaining involved in the practical side of construction rather than sitting behind a desk all day, this role will suit you perfectly.
Travel Requirements
Projects are delivered throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle and Northern NSW
Travelling throughout NSW for project delivery
Working away from home when required
Staying in accommodation ("digs") during regional projects
Occasionally working flexible hours to meet programme requirements
Accommodation and travel expenses will be covered where applicable.

About You
Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand
Commercial roofing, cladding, façade or commercial construction experience
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational and planning abilities
Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
Robust understanding of WHS legislation and site compliance
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site
A proactive, hands-on approach to project delivery
Essential Requirements
White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Working at Height (highly regarded)
Trade qualification in Carpentry, Roofing or a related construction trade
Strong understanding of site safety procedures and quality systems
