APG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced
Project Engineer
to support the delivery of Natural Disaster Program (NDP) recovery works.
This role will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver engineering, administrative and project support across preconstruction and construction phases, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager in delivering NDP projects and contracts
Assist with DRFA processes including submissions and completion documentation
Coordinate site activities and attend contractor meetings
Monitor project scope, risks, timelines and budgets
Manage project documentation, systems and reporting
Support contractor management, procurement and contract administration
Review contractor programs and ensure compliance with requirements
Maintain financial tracking (SAP, 3PCM) and project programming (P6)
Assist with variations, claims, extensions of time and stakeholder communication
Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) – recognised by Engineers Australia
Minimum 6+ years' experience in transport infrastructure projects
Minimum 3+ years' experience working on DRFA-funded projects
Strong knowledge of project systems (SAP, P6, 3PCM highly regarded)
Current Class C Driver's Licence

High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting ability
Experience working within government frameworks and compliance requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
