B & N Sekuloski is seeking an experienced
HC Truck and Dog Driver
to join our transport operations team on a full-time basis, based in Wollongong, NSW.
In this role, you will play a vital part in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of coal across local region collieries. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliable, professional freight delivery services.
Key responsibilities
Operate heavy truck and dog combination trucks safely and professionally in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer deadlines and service level agreements
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and identify any maintenance issues
Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation, including driver hours, fuel consumption and delivery records
Load and secure cargo appropriately, ensuring compliance with weight distribution and safety regulations
Adhere to all road safety regulations, speed limits and fatigue management requirements




Report vehicle defects and contribute to a culture of continuous safety improvement
What we're looking for
Valid Heavy Combination (HC) or equivalent truck driving licence for Australia
Minimum of 2 years' skilled truck driving experience, preferably in long-distance or regional transport
Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or license suspensions
Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, fatigue management laws and transport compliance requirements
Excellent vehicle handling skills and the ability to operate in varying weather and road conditions
Ability to read maps, use GPS navigation systems and plan efficient routes
Professional communication and customer service skills
Physical fitness to safely perform loading, unloading and vehicle maintenance tasks
Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety
Experience with electronic logbooks and transport management systems is desirable
