Maintenance Coordinator Labourpower Altona North, Melbourne, Australia

We are seeking Maintenance Coordinator for our Client’s Altona North site.

Our client is part of a world leading plastics manufacturing business, with a growing presence across the globe. Due to a recent promotion, they are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the team. This is an ongoing casual position, working Monday to Friday, Assisting the Maintenance & Reliability Manager. There is a true Temp to Perm Chance for the right candidate. There is overtime available too.

Manufacturing and Production
Temp to perm role
$40-$50 per hour casual rate inclusive of casual loading and afternoon shift loading
Commencing as soon as possible
Monday to Friday 10.00am-6.00pm

Duties Include (but are not limited to)
Manage spare parts inventory and storeroom activities
Monitor stock levels and replenishment activities
Conduct stock counts and inventory accuracy checks
Raise purchase orders and source parts and services
Coordinate maintenance resources, contractors and trades personnel
Support shutdowns and daily maintenance planning




Analyse equipment failures and support RCA investigations
Review OEM manuals and identify spare parts
Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers
Maintain accurate records in MEX CMMS and prepare reports

The Successful Candidate will have
Maintenance planning, coordination, reliability or engineering support experience
Inventory management and procurement experience
Solid understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
Ability to read technical manuals and spare parts catalogues
Robust Excel and Outlook skills
Experience using CMMS systems, preferably MEX
Excellent communication and organisational skills
