The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced fulltime
Night Supervisor
to lead our overnight cleaning operations at the Sydney Opera House.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the overnight cleaning team, maintaining high presentation standards, and ensuring all cleaning services are delivered safely, efficiently, and consistently.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on, motivated cleaning professional who takes pride in quality, leadership, and delivering exceptional service within a world class venue.
What You'll Be Doing
Supervise, motivate, and support the overnight cleaning team.
Allocate daily cleaning tasks and monitor completion to ensure service requirements are achieved.
Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain high presentation standards across the venue.
Provide coaching, training,



and performance support to team members.
Respond promptly to operational issues and client requests.
Ensure compliance with WHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
Monitor cleaning equipment, chemicals, and stock levels.
Work closely with the Contract Manager and Operations Team to deliver outstanding service outcomes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across cleaning operations.
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a cleaning supervisor, team leader, or similar leadership role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required (this is a fulltime role which requires you to be able to work min 38 hours per week)
Ability to work independently and make decisions during overnight operations.
Robust problem solving skills and the ability to manage operational challenges.
Experience within a large venue, hospitality, facilities management, or commercial cleaning environment is desirable.
Current Australian working rights.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
