Hygiene Process Operator (Afternoon Shift)
Huon is seeking reliable and hardworkingHygiene Process Operatorsto join our afternoon cleaning team at our Parramatta Creek Processing Facility, located just 20 minutes from Devonport.
This is a physically demanding role that plays a critical part in maintaining our food safety and quality standards.
About the role
Starting at3:00 pm, you'll work as part of our Hygiene Team, carrying out intensive cleaning of processing equipment and production areas to ensure the site is ready for the next day's operations.
This role involves:
Industrial cleaning of processing equipment and factory areas
Manual handling and repetitive physical work
Lifting and carrying items up to25kg
Working safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment
Following food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
Working as part of a supportive team in a quick-paced environment
What we're looking for
To be successful you'll have:
A currentForklift Licence(essential)
Previous hygiene,



industrial or commercial cleaning experience
Experience working in a manufacturing or food processing environment (highly regarded)
An understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Intermediate English skills with the ability to communicate, read and complete basic documentation
Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual work, including lifting up to 25kg
Full working rights for at least the next***** months
