The Role
Working within a production environment, you'll be responsible for the installation and assembly of electrical components on heavy vehicles.




Duties include:
Installing vehicle wiring harnesses and looms
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical drawings
Routing, terminating and securing electrical wiring
Installing lighting, switches, control panels and electrical accessories
Testing completed wiring installations
Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintaining quality workmanship while meeting production targets
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant in automotive, transport or heavy vehicle manufacturing
Experience with automotive wiring, electrical assembly or wiring harness installation
Ability to read wiring diagrams or electrical schematics
Robust mechanical aptitude
Experience using hand and power tools
Excellent attention to detail
Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work well within a team
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Highly regarded
Auto Electrical experience
Heavy vehicle, bus, truck or trailer manufacturing experience
Electrical trade qualifications (completed or partially completed)
