We are seeking a full time
Lab & Office Support Officer
to join our dedicated team at our
North Ryde
facility, working
Monday to Friday
. This is strictly an
on-site
role due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position.
We're looking for someone who:
Is digital literate — comfortable using computers, email, and office systems as part of their daily responsibilities.
Works well in a highly regulated work environment, following standards by TGA and FDA
Has excellent attention to detail and computes with high degree of accuracy
Works well in a team environment and can also work well independently
Be willing to work in a pathology laboratory and be trained in pathology techniques
Is looking for a stable full-time permanent role
Takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering

The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
Receiving and triaging patient samples for testing
Entering patient data in the computerised system
Carrying out laboratory testing of patient samples
Creating batches, allocating test results to patient and samples, using various software systems
Liaising with Quality Assurance and on-site Doctor to deliver patient & doctors letters.
Communicating in a courteous and responsive manner with customers (both internal and external) regarding sample submissions and associated queries.
Assisting with complaints and/or non-conformities as per procedure.
Assist in the review of internal procedures to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
Comply with relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Supporting the team to ensure day-to-day operations run and tasks are completed.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Can work well to support the team and work well independently.
Can work in a highly regulated office and laboratory environment, following TGA and FDA standards and is willing to be trained in laboratory techniques.
Previous data entry experience and experience working in small businesses is highly advantageous but not essential.
