New Home Care is seeking an organised and proactiveRostering & Administration Coordinatorto join our growing team.
The primary focus of this role is to coordinate staff rosters and support the smooth delivery of services to our clients.
The successful candidate will also provide general administrative support to the Operations team.
As this role involves regular communication with Chinese-speaking clients and support workers, qualified proficiency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential.
About the Role
Rostering and Service Coordination
Prepare and maintain staff rosters based on client needs, staff availability, qualifications and location.
Coordinate client service schedules accurately and within required timeframes.
Manage roster changes, cancellations, staff leave and replacement shifts.
Monitor unfilled shifts and arrange suitable staff to minimise service disruptions.
Communicate roster updates clearly with clients, support workers, Care Managers and internal teams.
Respond to rostering enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain accurate staff availability and rostering information.
Escalate urgent staffing issues or service risks when required.
Administration Support
Maintain accurate client, employee and service information in internal systems.
Assist with data entry,
filing and document management.
Respond to telephone, email and internal enquiries.
Assist with staff onboarding and training coordination.
Provide general administrative support to the Operations team as required.
About You
Essential Requirements
Professional proficiency inEnglish and Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, coordination or administration.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage urgent changes and competing priorities.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Australian working rights.
Highly Regarded
Experience in aged care, disability support, community services or healthcare.
Experience using rostering or client management systems.
Understanding of home care or community-based services.
