Sydney Trains are currently going through a major capital investment program to support their strategic focus and reviewing ageing assets and improving reliability and performance across the network.
As such, they are looking for multiple Civil Project Engineers to work on these upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a variety of construction projects on behalf of Sydney trains
Develop the Project Scopes with specific attention to site specific conditions, project integration and inter-disciplinary requirements.
Project control including tracking progress and actual expenditure; and required reporting.
As necessary, ensure effective contract management including developing Request for Proposal, managing tendering process, stakeholder management, contract administration, contractor performance management.
Develop plans and provide regular reports on performance.
Provide regular project updates against agreed cost and schedule, reporting on project delays, risks/issues, project performance and status to relevant stakeholders as requested
Effective communication with customers, team members and internal/external stakeholders.
