Position:Part-Time Pharmacy Assistants

Deception Bay Discount Drug Store is seeking a reliable and motivated Part time Pharmacy Assistant to join our Webster Packing Team.
Working alongside our Webster Packing Manager and pharmacists, you will help prepare and maintain medication packs for our patients.
This is an important behind-the-scenes role that requires strong attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with in-house sachet medication packing
Assisting with flat-pack Webster packing
Deblistering medication stock in preparation for packing
Rotating stock and monitoring expiry dates
Maintaining accurate and organised stock levels
Keeping the packing area clean, organised and compliant
Following pharmacy procedures and pharmacist directions




Supporting the Webster team to meet daily workflow and packing deadlines
The ideal candidate will:
Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Be reliable, organised and able to follow set procedures
Work well in a busy, team-based environment
Be comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy
Understand the importance of patient confidentiality
Have previous pharmacy, Webster packing or medication-packing experience, although training can be provided to the right applicant
This is a part-time position based at Deception Bay Discount Drug Store.
The successful applicant will become part of a supportive team and play an important role in helping us provide safe and reliable medication-packing services to our patients.
