Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pallet and Crate Technician to join our team at a reputable pallet and crate manufacturing company.
As a Pallet and Crate Technician, you will be responsible for repairing existing pallets, building current pallets, and constructing shipping crates.
A valid forklift license is required for this position or the competence to pass the course paid by us.
Responsibilities
Repair damaged pallets by replacing broken boards, reinforcing weak areas, and ensuring structural integrity.
Build new pallets according to specifications, using various tools and equipment.
Construct shipping crates to transport goods safely and securely.
Follow blueprints, diagrams, or verbal instructions to assemble pallets and crates.
Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products.
Ensure all pallets and crates meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Requirements




Valid forklift license is a must.
Previous experience in repairing pallets and building crates is preferred Or construction experience
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret diagrams.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
Must hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or possess a valid work visa authorising employment in Australia.
