As a Library Technician with TAFE NSW, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of innovative library and information services. You will help create a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive library environment, support the use of digital technologies and maintain library collections and systems to provide positive learning experiences for our diverse range of learners.
You are an experienced Library Technician with an accredited Diploma of Library and Information Science and are eligible for membership with ALIA. You have a passion to support learning through access to library services and resources and enjoy helping customers to use digital systems, library technologies and equipment, providing guidance to access information and resolve issues. You are a motivated and organised team player and take care to maintain records, collections and facilities accurately.
Adaptable and adaptable, you can respond to changing needs in a dynamic setting and are willing to travel between network libraries as per business requirements.
This is a child-related position. Successful candidates must hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing. TAFE NSW will also conduct an Australian National Criminal Record Check on the preferred applicant as part of the pre-employment process. To be eligible for a position at TAFE NSW, you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current Current Zealand passport.
