Urban Sports Bar is a premium recent venue opening at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast - a concept built around elevated Mediterranean-inspired plates, live sport, and a high-energy atmosphere. We're looking for an experienced chef to join our team at either Chef de Partie or Sous Chef level depending on your experience.

This is a hands-on role in a quality kitchen with a strong senior team around you. Whether you're stepping into a Sous Chef position or consolidating your skills at CDP level, there's a real opportunity to grow with the venue.

Mediterranean-inspired plates - visually robust, built for sharing, and designed to perform under pressure during high-volume service.

Key Responsibilities
Execute your section to a consistently high standard across all prep and service periods
Maintain mise en place and follow all recipe cards, plating guides and kitchen SOPs
Support and mentor junior team members on your section
Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation as required
Hold the pass confidently and support the Head Chef during busy services
Maintain food safety,



hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times

What We're Looking For
Solid experience as a CDP or Sous Chef in a quality, high-volume kitchen
High standards on the pass - plating, presentation and consistency matter here
Someone who works clean, sets up properly and takes ownership of their section
A reliable, positive team member who communicates well under pressure
Mediterranean or Greek cuisine experience is an advantage but not essential
Current Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
