We are a small self-licenced financial services practice (AFSL *******).
We provide advice in relation to financial strategies, investment strategies, superannuation, retirement, aged care and life insurance.
The role is to assist a senior financial adviser to provide advice to clients.
The assistance will include all aspects of advice, ranging from strategy, research, advice documentation preparation, implementation to modelling.
The role also includes interacting with clients when required.
Two or three days per week, permanent part-time.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Assist the senior financial adviser in providing advice to clients.
Stand-in for the senior financial adviser when required.
Over time expand the practice's client base.
Skills and experience
Australia citizenship or permanent residence.
Meets the education qualifications standard, including if relevant, the experience financial adviser pathway, to provide personal advice to retail clients.
Where relevant, has completed their professional year of work and training.




Is listed on the Financial Advisers Register (FAR).
Has completed the minimum required hours of CPD, including mandatory categories, each year they have been appointed on the FAR, and have no failures to comply with the annual CPD.
At least one year's experience as a financial adviser.
Must disclose the details of any breaches or complaints against the financial adviser.
Must provide an acceptable police and bankruptcy check.
Excellent computer skills (in particular Microsoft Office and Excel).
The ability to quickly understand and use computer applications and websites.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Excellent with numbers (i.e. basic mathematics).
The ability to multi-task.
All of the usual people skills.
