LuJo's Cafe is seeking a
Cafe Allrounder
to join our dynamic team in Merrimac, QLD. This is a
casual position
offering 40 hours a week offering flexibility and variety as you work across multiple areas of our cafe operations. As a Cafe Allrounder, you will be the backbone of our front-of-house service, delivering exceptional customer experiences whilst supporting all aspects of our cafe's daily operations. Your role is essential to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere and efficient service that our customers will expect and deserve.
What you'll be doing
Greeting customers warmly and seating them in appropriate areas of the cafe
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serving meals, drinks and refreshments to customers with attention to detail and courtesy
Clearing and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and organised dining environment
Processing payments and handling cash and card transactions securely
Barista operations when required, including coffee preparation and beverage service
Assisting with kitchen support tasks during service periods as directed
Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and food safety compliance
Communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth service delivery
Supporting stock management and restocking of supplies as needed
What we're looking for
Previous experience in hospitality, cafe or waiting staff roles is highly desirable




Solid communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy
Flexibility and adaptability, with willingness to learn and support various cafe operations
Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge, with willingness to comply with all safety standards
Team player mentality with a positive attitude and reliability
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
