Advanced Ground Solutions is a growing Perth-based specialist contractor providing foundation repair, ground stabilisation and structural remediation solutions across residential, commercial and civil projects.
Our work includes polyurethane resin injection, slab lifting and relevelling, grout injection, underpinning, soil stabilisation, concrete repair, rising damp remediation and other specialist foundation solutions.
We are looking for an experienced and practical Ground Engineering Technician to join our operational team.
About the Role
This is predominantly a hands-on site position focused on polyurethane resin injection used to lift and stabilise sunken concrete slabs, floors, driveways, pathways and residential foundations.
You will be involved in preparing sites, operating injection equipment, monitoring slab movement and delivering controlled lifting and ground-stabilisation works.
As you become familiar with our systems, you will also assist with site inspections, identifying likely causes of movement, planning works, preparing equipment and materials, and helping develop practical repair solutions.
The role will suit someone who enjoys technical construction work, problem-solving and taking responsibility for delivering a quality result on site.Key Responsibilities
Carry out polyurethane resin injection and slab-lifting works.
Lift and relevel residential concrete slabs, floors, driveways and external paved areas.
Undertake void filling, ground consolidation and foundation stabilisation.
Set up, operate, clean and maintain pumps, hoses, injection guns and associated equipment.
Drill injection points and monitor slab levels during controlled lifting.
Read levels using laser and survey equipment.
Identify site conditions that may affect the proposed repair methodology.
Complete pre-starts, site documentation, photographs and job records.




Assist with residential and commercial site inspections.
Measure affected areas and record cracking, settlement and level variations.
Assist with job planning, material estimates and equipment preparation.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, engineers and supervisors.
Undertake other remediation works where required, including underpinning, grout injection, concrete cancer repairs, crack repairs, rising damp treatment and waterproofing.
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and workmanship.
About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, technically minded and comfortable working independently at residential and commercial properties.
Ideally, you will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Polyurethane resin injection or expanding-foam slab lifting.
Resin injection underpinning.
Slab jacking, concrete lifting or concrete relevelling.
Foundation repair and ground stabilisation.
Concrete repair or structural remediation.
Grout injection or pressure injection.
Underpinning and footing repairs.
Waterproofing or rising damp remediation.
Concrete cancer and crack repair.
Residential building inspections or repair assessments.
Direct experience with polyurethane resin injection is highly regarded.
Applicants with strong experience in concrete repair, underpinning, waterproofing, civil construction or remedial building works will also be considered.
Essential Requirements
Current Australian driver's licence.
Construction White Card.
Strong understanding of site safety requirements.
Ability to safely operate tools and specialist equipment.
Good practical problem-solving skills.
Ability to accurately use laser levels and measuring equipment, or willingness to learn.
Valuable communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to complete basic site reports and job documentation.
Physically capable of undertaking hands-on construction work.
Reliable, organised and able to manage daily site activities.
