About the company/role:
Our client is a food ingredient manufacturer supplying B2B.
They are seeking an experienced senior level quality candidate to step into a Quality Manager role for a 3-month period.
This is a full time, day shift role based in Western Sydney.
The role will have 3 direct reports and will report directly to the Site Leader.
Duties:
Manage site operations and provide daily support from a quality perspective
Lead customer complaint management and implement corrective actions
Provide leadership and direction to the quality team members
Oversee daily QMS activities – compliance with standards and polices
Manage quality administrative duties related to reporting, auditing, documentation
Skills/experience:
Previous experience working in a senior level quality role in the food industry
Tertiary qualifications in food science or a related discipline
Previous people management experience is highly advantageous
Excellent communication skills
Proven self-starter who enjoys a hands-on role
