About the Role
We are currently seeking an experiencedMobile Crushing Leading Handto join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for aCairns, Mackay, Townsville or Brisbane based residentto step into a leadership role and take responsibility forleading a mobile crushing operation on sitein a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
This position is offered on aFIFO or DIDO basis.
As aMobile Crushing Leading Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing theday-to-day operations of a mobile crushing plant on site, ensuring production targets are met, equipment reliability is maintained, and your team operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinatedaily mobile crushing and screening operations on site.
Lead and manage a team ofoperators and maintainers, ensuring strong safety and performance standards.
Operate and oversee mobile crushing equipment includingjaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, and conveyors.
Operatesupport equipment such as loaders and excavatorsto maintain consistent plant feed and stockpile management where needed.
Monitor production rates and adjust plant settings tooptimise performance and achieve production targets.




Conduct routine inspections and assist with maintenance tasks includingscreen changes, wear part replacements, roller and skirting adjustments.
Ensure thecrushing area is safe, clean, and well maintained, including feed management and stockpile control.
Liaise withsite management and company managementto ensure efficient and productive operations.
Ensure compliance withcompany safety systems, site procedures, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
5 years previous experience in aleadership role within mobile crushing or quarrying.
Strong knowledge ofmobile crushing and screening equipment operation and maintenance.
Proven experience producing quarry products such asroadbase and aggregatesto specification, including anunderstanding of product gradings and quality requirements.
Acurrent Australian Driver's Licence(mandatory).
S 1,2,3Supervisor certificate(mandatory).
Relevant tickets or competencies forwheel loader, excavator and crushing and screening operations.
Solid leadership and communication skills with the ability tomanage and develop a site crew.
A proactive approach tosafety, compliance, and operational performance.
Ability to work inremote environments and site-based operations.
Physically fit and willing to assist withhands-on operational and maintenance tasks.
