We are seeking an experienced
Digital Marketing Manager
to join Big Splash Media Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW, a leading content marketing and digital publishing agency. You will lead and shape our digital marketing strategy and drive business growth through innovative campaigns and data-driven initiatives.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our digital operations, from leading website development work to working closely with our sales team to enhance our brand presence and deliver measurable results across multiple channels for our clients.
This role is based in Sydney and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation at a time when digital marketers everywhere are challenged.
We work in travel and entertainment - two areas of high growth and interest.
You'll be a strategist who can also work on the tools to get results.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities
Lead our digital development at a time when we are creating new initiatives for our web and socials presence
Oversee search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO) and paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms
Manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and delivering strong return on investment (ROI)
Analyse campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive strategic decision‐making
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
Proven expertise in search engine marketing, search engine optimisation and paid advertising (Meta, Google Ads, Bing, social platforms and AI)
Strong understanding of digital analytics platforms and the ability to interpret complex data sets to inform strategy
Demonstrated success in managing marketing budgets and delivering measurable business results




Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of building high-performing teams
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex strategies to diverse audiences
Proficiency in marketing automation, customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing technology platforms
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously
Certification or advanced training in relevant areas such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or equivalent digital marketing qualifications (desirable)
Strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term tactical execution with long-term strategic planning
We use Hubspot and we are looking for proficiency with this CRM
Knowledge of content marketing and working with content producers would be a major advantage
