Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC) is the owner of Queen's Wharf Brisbane (QWB), a landmark integrated resort comprising casino gaming, hotels, food and beverage, retail, entertainment, and public precinct assets.
Following the commencement of operations in ****, DBC transitioned from a development-focused organisation to an asset owner, with responsibility for overseeing integrated resort performance delivered by the external operator, protecting investor and stakeholder value, meeting regulatory, lender and joint venture obligations, and driving the long-term commercial sustainability of the precinct.
About the Role
The Precinct Marketing & Events Manager is responsible for developing and executing the integrated resort's precinct marketing strategy, signature events calendar, destination activations, entertainment programming and commercial partnerships to maximise visitation, customer engagement and revenue.
The role works across all operating departments including Hotel, Food & Beverage, Gaming, Entertainment, Retail, Property Operations and Guest Experience to create a vibrant destination that delivers year-round activation and commercial performance.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement annual precinct marketing plans.
Manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional and on-property channels.
Build destination awareness and increase visitation.
Drive customer acquisition and repeat visitation.
Develop brand partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
Oversee promotional calendar and campaign effectiveness.
Events & Activation
Develop annual entertainment and events calendar.
Maximise utilisation of public spaces.
Coordinate festivals, sporting activations, concerts and community events.
Manage event budgets and commercial performance.




Negotiate with promoters, performers and suppliers.
Commercial Development
Identify new revenue opportunities.
Increase spend per visitor.
Maximise cross-selling opportunities between hotel, restaurants, bars, gaming and entertainment.
Evaluate business cases for new concepts.
Participate in current venue openings and repositioning projects.
Annual budgets

About You:
7+ years in marketing, events or destination management.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
Experience managing significant budgets.
Financial literacy.
Strong stakeholder management.
