We're looking for a Training Manager to lead our Gympie training team, delivering high-quality, learner-centred programs that build real skills, confidence and pathways to employment for our local community.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine facilitation with program oversight, ensuring training is engaging, compliant and outcomes-focused.
About the role
As Training Manager, you'll lead a small team including a Customer Support Officer, Participant Support Officer and LLND Trainers and Facilitator, reporting to the Regional Manager – Wide Bay.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality LLND training aligned to ACSF/DLSF and program requirements
Creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments
Leading, mentoring and supporting facilitators and trainers
Overseeing program delivery to ensure consistency, quality and contract compliance
Leading validation, moderation and continuous improvement processes
Monitoring program KPIs including retention, attendance, progression and outcomes
Building strong relationships with referral agencies, employers and community partners
Representing the organisation at community events and industry forums
Ensuring accurate data capture to support reporting and continuous improvement
Supporting recruitment, performance and development within your team

About you
Demonstrated experience in training and development leadership roles
A track record of delivering business plan objectives
Strong relationship-building skills with a customer service focus
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven setting
Flexible, positive leadership style with strong communication and coaching skills
Qualifications in Foundation Skills, Business or Business Administration highly regarded
Mandatory requirements
Right to work in Australia
Current Open Driver's Licence
National Police Check
Working with Children card
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
