Beachcomber International Resort is currently looking for a casual cleaning person to join their team.
The shifts will be 5 nights per week, 6 hour shifts from 4pm-10pm.
The main responsibilities of this position are to lock and secure the resort after hours during the night shifts, cleaning of common areas, some minor maintenance & and to be on call during the shifts for any guests who need assistance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General cleaning of common areas including lifts BBQ's, saunas, Club lounge, gym, games room and foyer, rubbish removal & water plants
Minor maintenance duties as required
Check and log jobs in computer & carry resort mobile while on duty
Night shift security walk around building to check all exits and fire doors are closed with front door locked at 8pm and games room & rooftop locked at 9pm & all equipment is locked away
Check spa levels and clean spa sock
Plaza Bathrooms cleaning and replenishing supplies
KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Good communication with a solid customer service focus
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Maintenance & cleaning experience
Knowledge and understanding of work place health and safety standards
Ability to use power tools according to the work health and safety standard
