The Role:
CDC NSW is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to join our depot at Emu Plains for night driving.
As a Bus Driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey.This is 21 hours permanent part time position, with prospect to work weekend nights as part of the working week so availability on weekends is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service
Carry out pre departure checks and reporting mechanical defects




Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort
Identify, address and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behavior in the workplace
Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies
The responsibility of collecting correct fares, issuing tickets and checking passes
Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records
Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role:
Have a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MRand above)
Have or willing to obtain aNSW Bus Drivers Authority
Have or willing to obtain aWorking with Children Check
Provide your current RMS driving history
Availability to work weekend nights
Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
Always act SAFELY
Have excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE skills
Have excellent COMMUNICATION skills
A positive, proactiveapproachand be well presented at all times
Provide an Australian passport/current Australian working status
