Compliance & Quality Officer Early Childhood Education and Care
Little Peoples Early Learning is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education and Care professional to join our team as a Compliance & Quality Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early childhood leader who enjoys travelling, mentoring centre teams and driving continuous quality improvement across multiple regional based services.
A key focus of this role is working alongside our Working Towards National Quality Standard (NQS) services, providing intensive support to strengthen practice, safety, governance and compliance to help services confidently achieve a Meeting NQS rating.
This position requires regular travel throughout regional NSW, primarily supporting our services in the Tamworth and Wagga Wagga regions initially, but not limited to these areas depending on operational priorities.
You will typically work Monday to Friday at one location before moving to another service or location, or spend two-week blocks supporting services within a region, depending on operational priorities.
About the Role
Provide intensive support to services currently rated Working Towards the National Quality Standard, developing targeted action plans to achieve a Meeting NQS rating.
Conduct comprehensive compliance and quality audits.
Reporting to the Area Manager - Work alongside Nominated Supervisors, Educational Leaders and Centre Leadership Teams to uplift safety and compliance.
Monitor compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations and National Quality Standard.
Identify compliance risks and implement practical improvement strategies.




Review policies, procedures and governance systems to ensure best practice.
Support services through Assessment and Rating preparation, regulatory visits and continuous improvement planning.
Build solid compliance systems that place children's safety, wellbeing and learning at the centre of decision-making.
Work collaboratively with Area Managers and the Operations Team to ensure consistent quality across all services.
About You
Previous experience as an Area Manager, Centre Director, Nominated Supervisor, senior leadership position within Early Childhood Education and Care Service.
Demonstrated experience supporting services through Assessment and Rating or significant quality improvement initiatives.
Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law, National Regulations and National Quality Standard.
Proven ability to coach and mentor leadership teams to improve compliance and quality outcomes.
Excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building skills.
Current Working with Children Check.
Current Driver Licence.
Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home for rostered work blocks which will be ongoing.
