About the Role
As the SIL Service Coordinator you will oversee the day to day co-ordination of our SIL Houses using the "Shine Way" of service delivery.
As this is a billable role you will be given a SIL based caseload to manage while you are trained in the complexities ofdisability servicesand NDIS compliance.
You will work closely with the Service Delivery and Operations teams to:




Coordinate and oversee SIL based support programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes
Build strong relationships with participants, families, and external stakeholders
Support the ongoing growth and sustainability of Shine's SIL services
Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to frontline staff
Oversee compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across all services
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline service delivery and drive department goals
Promote a positive, team-oriented, and accountable team culture
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for someone with the right clinical/practical background who is ready to learn the administrative and leadership side:
Experience in disability support, nursing, allied health, psychology, or social work.
A strong understanding of the NDIS, NIISQ and Community Aged Care framework, specifically in SIL operations.
Experience in Manual Handling and ABI's
Able to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Prior experience in a senior frontline or emerging leadership role within a Community setting.
Trained in the 'Assist Clients with Medication' skillset and Mental Health First Aid (Essential).
A Cert IV, Diploma, or tertiary qualification in Health, Community Services, or Management (Essential).
Current First Aid/CPR, Driver's License, Police Check, and an NDIS Worker Screening / Blue Card.
