Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of CTG, currently has a vacancy for a Service Engineer based in the Newcastle area.
The successful applicant will use his/her skills to troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical, mechanical-medical, dental and gas therapy equipment.
The successful applicant will possess the necessary skills to perform routine testing, and to diagnose and repair faulty electronic equipment.
Responsibilities include the minimisation of operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing; and working to ensure the contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.




To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous hands-on experience in repair and service of medical/electronic equipment is mandatory.
Experience with electro-medical and gas therapy equipment will be very highly regarded, but training will be provided where necessary.
Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in an Electronic or Biomedical Engineering discipline;
Minimum 2 years' industry experience in the repair and service of electro-medical equipment;
Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement;
An organised and pro‐active approach to work;
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well, with minimal supervision.
A current non-restricted NSW driver's licence;
