About the Role
Alchin Long Group (ALG) is looking for an
entry- level Quality Control Officer
to join our manufacturing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career, or looking to transition into manufacturing, who is keen to develop skills in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
This is a
hands-on role
, working across both the shop floor and office, supporting inspections, reporting, and quality initiatives across production.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with quality checks across production and warehouse
Conduct basic inspections on parts and finished products
Use measuring tools (training provided)
Identify and report defects and quality issues




Support identification of defects and quality issues
Assist with NCRs and quality documentation
Collaborate with production and assembly teams
Maintain quality records and reports
About You
Experience in manufacturing, production, or a trade environment (or willingness to learn)
Solid attention to detail
Basic understanding of quality or interest in developing in this area
Comfortable working hands-on in a workshop environment
Willingness to learn how to read drawings and use measuring tools
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Desirable (not essential):
Trade background or technical qualification
Exposure to engineering drawings
Experience with quality systems or inspections
